Starting off my dreadies.

Introduce Yourself

Heylos! I've just started out to (2nd time around), Its only been 5 days since I last brushed and my hairs already sectioning itself. You should try natural as I got a feeling it will happen quicker than we expect. Your lucky if you have naturally knotty hair. :)

washing with tea.

Dreads Hair and Scalp Health

Peppermint tea might be refreshing in a spray bottle in the refridgerator for the itches. Can't say I've tried it but I might :)

Introduce Yourself

Thanks :)

Nor me bTd, can't wait for the loopyness.

Lexz I saw your dread coil on another thread, liking the cats eye beads. May have to try make something similar when mine are slightly more established.

Hey! :)

Introduce Yourself

I've been lurking for a bit and thought I better join and say Hey. Lots of inspirational dreads!Anyways I'm Lou, I had backcombed dreads a few years back but combed them out :( I missed them sooo much I have been waiting for the right time to get dready again. I've decided it's now :) I'm not muchIOC a brusher just hoping to wash n my hair and let it do it's thing. Although I have twisted an ripped a couple in today. My hair usually knots itself within a couple of days so I'm hoping a week and I should start to knot good and proper at the back.Luvz n hugz :) x

Dr. Bronners oh how i missed you

Dread Products

I never use to dilute bronners either just use it like shampoo. Peppermints my fav although I use to mix it with the tea tree one. I do believe now I've dreaded back up I should treat myself to a bottle. Think I shall dilute as it makes it last longer then :) x
