Isoaringeagle MY REPLY TO: is it normal for my dread to come undone so easily if I did them last sunday? An used the rip an Tare methodMy reply - I use nutragina residue free shampoo I so far have towel dried an blowdryed my dreads. Yes I do mess with them when I notice ones that arnt locking well I split them an make them two separate locks. I usually have to rip an Tare them after every wash so far.Far.

Okay question my shorts layer right now is about 61/2 in an then it goes 8 in and than 10-11 in is this gonna effect dreading my hair or will it be different and unique like I hope?

How should the washing process of my dreads be done?

Okay I've been thinking about doing locking my hair a lot but I've been uncertain as to how. Well I've decided I'm gonna go with the twist an rip method. I have a few questions though .1. When I have finished dreading my hair how long should I wait to wash it?2. My hair is about 9 in long an I would like to know using the twist an rip method where about my hair would shrink to?3. Do I need any type of products using the twist an rip method?
