Help! Could it be mold?

Help! Save My Dreads

Alright so I have had my dreads for almost 3 months, and today i bleached them (actually I am waiting to wash it out right now).
After i put the bleach in i noticed around the roots of my dreads, where it is the tightest, that there is a sort black discouloration, and this is around many of the dreads.
Could it be mold? And if so how do i get rid of it?

PLEASE HELP :(

Any tips or adive is greatly appreciated

Twist and Rip - looking like braids

Dreading Methods

Hi there,
I did the twist and rip method on my hair and most of my dreads look a little bit like messy braids.
I have already had them for a little over two months now, and I was just hoping if anyone has had the same thing and if later on the dreads start to lose that braid looking effect.
Will it go away or does anybody have any advice?

Danke!

Brand new twist and rip dread help

Dreading Methods

Ello ello,

I just did the twist and rip method on my hair yesterday (day one, woo!), and I noticed that there is about a 1-2 inch part at my roots which is just normal, un-dreaded.
Should I just leave them alone and do their thing? ( I tried twist and ripping them as close to my head as possible but it just wouldn't work)
Or, is there something I could do to help dread em up?

Also, I only have a total of 25 dreads on my head, I plan on seperating a few cause they are quite large, but is that an unusually a low number or am I just being a silly nilly and worrying too much?

Thank you; any comments/tips/suggestions/help is greatly appreciated :)

Hello dreadies

Introduce Yourself

Greetings from Canada! Just wanna' start off by saying that this site literally just stopped me from purchasing a dreadkit from mister Johnny Clean and am now converted to the all-natural way :)

Great atmosphere here, I am lovin' it!

Hope to talk to many of you soon :)
