i took my dreads outta the rubberbands as sugested an i just washed them but now they dont even look like dreads anymore is this normal

because i got how to dreadlock instructions off of dreadheadhq when i had dreads the first time befor i cut them off i recently found this site and pretty much every thing i thought i knew sounds to be wrong so im bound to have a lot more questions in the future so thanks for answering my questions im proud of my new dreads an they feel pretty well knotted for 11 days i guess but once again thanks

should i take out the rubber bands i have my backcombed dreads sectioned with im new to the dread thing i had the once befor i used dreadheadhq the starter kit this was when i was 17 and cut them after a month cause the felt gross sticky i guess cause the wax as ive read in the other post how wax kills dreads so ive been all natural for my new set im 23 now and doing them again but do i really need rubber bands or is this a bad idea cause the break all the time an i find myself replacin at least 10 a day i started with 350 little black elastics an im down to 25 to 30 so please help me and let me know thank you

i've had my dreads for 11 days now an was wonderin if i need to sleep with a nylon on my head , i heard that i should but it aggrivates my head an ears at night my dreads look pretty good be to new i guess but they get flat so is it really nessicary to wear this?
