Please excuse the terrible two tone colour it was the 1st time I ever dyed my hair.. Something I will never do again

Would be great for people with experience could let me know how they think my hair will dread naturally and maybe an idea of how long.Many many thanks in advance..(This is my hair when 1st washed with BS and towel dried)

Right it has been around 6hours of my poor OH trying to make one dread with R&T method and it is maybe only 3 cm long..

Watched tons of videos and he is doing just as advised..

Really wanted to make some progress but now looking like it may have to be the natural way..

any ideas on what is going wrong?

Hair washed in BS very dry, huge frizz twist the ripping about 6 or more timesin between..

Hair finally dry and did a small test one at my neck it is knotted well with the twist and ripp but looks a little bit like a plat (think they are called Braids in US) How can I make it look more like a dread?

Right my hair has been fully washed in BS and although not yet dry I resemble someone from the Cure.. It was knotting a lot in the shower..

So when it's dry it's time to start the process..
