EXACTLY..... SORRY WAX IS SO NOT OK ..GO'S AGAINST EVERY PART OF GETTING DREDS IN THE 1ST PLACE.

ok .each to their own.pls know i respect that ok. BUT its COMPLETLY irelevant how light it is ...that just fools people even more..... dreads have been around loger than wax's how? naturally. if u have short dreds and fel they pop out too much this to is natural...dreds arnt meant to be over played with...mine are natural & down to my butt...when u put the wax on ur hair WILL slowly but surely absorb some of it regardles of how little u use ...this will happen ..over time once its penetrated ur hair will start to smell after a little longer it will get worse and worse.... this is from some one with over 15 yrs exp and 5 foot dreads.... i wish u luck sorry u r going to need it .peace.kaz.

Hey im kaz. had dreads for many yrs neat ...but WAx

NO WAY in the long run this is almost everyones biggest regret...it WILL build up .... its not cool on any level.

However, it isn't the only method and all methods have pros and consassociatedwith them. If you over wax, your dreads are gonna be hard masses of wax. Thebenefitsof waxing are neater looking locks, more control over the final look of your locks, and renforcement for damaged dreads after a mini disaster (epoxy in hair, dread caught on nail while running to the basement to dodge tornados, ferrets attacking them in your sleep, ect)

well u cant convince the ignorant but freinds if they are real openminded worthwhile freinds just educate them that your hair needs to be clean to dread and that dreads are the natural state of hair the way all hairs meant to be if your not constantly forcing it to not dread
