I wanna get twists to start my dreads but will they come out loose in the ocean? i know salt water helps them loc but will they like unravel or will the be tight enough in 3 months time to stay in? my hair is very curly and and knots very fast

yeah its a thing hs wrestlers do. but its not mandatory so i might not do it. i meat to say i was gonna twist and neglect i just couldnt think of what it was called when i was typing this haha i want to twist to have more of a uniform look to my dreads but i dont plan on retwisting much if at all.

okay, so im a male and i have african american hair. very kinky and curly when i leave it alone for a couple of days i get nice little dreads and i decided i want to get dreads but with the comb twist method. im a high school wrestler and this mean i will be bleaching my hair in about a week. so my question is will the bleach affect the locing process in any negative way?

haha thats good cause i dont like the idea of putting wax in my hair all i wanna do is rip it apart if they are joining and getting too big

So im growing my hair out and i wanna wait till its nice and long the last time i had it long was a couple years ago and when my hair grows out its really curly will it dread nicely?? my hair looks just like corbin bleu's hair like this:

so it wont be a problem if i just twist them now and let them grow without retwisting them because i want my dreads to look a little more professional so i wont have as much trouble with employers

I have a 2 questions about getting your hair twisted.1) Is there a meximum length you can get your hair twisted2)If i get my hair twisted and then just go with neglect without retwisting will they stay in the sections they were twisted in or will i still need to rip them apart to stop congoing

ok with the baking soda thing do you use the whole thing like the whole gallon of water with the baking soda or do you just use some of it.
