I like your bangs! But if you're anything like me, I'm already annoyed with mine and I'm only 3 weeks into it... it's definitely personal preference. Maybe once they get longer let them dread
the roots will tighten over the next 3-6 months and the bangs yea let em dread
Wow i haven't been on in forever...
so it's been 6 months going on 7 and my dreads are doing great. the only thing that gets to me is my roots:-/ they're still so loose...but i guess i gotta get over it ya know? i'm thinkin about dreading my bangs too but i'm not to sure.. should i?
Go and love the ocean. It will help them if anything. I love to go to the beach in my spare time. I feel that there is nothing better for the dreads. :DFlorida represent bitch haha
To answer your original question: Ocean + dreads = Wet dreads XD
ocean water's fantastic. it spawned my first few dreads in just a week of going through florida. i still usesea saltrinse every once in a while. just be careful. doing it too often will dry out your head.
Yeah, here too. I live on Vancouver Island... the west side of the island has some amazing beaches and a big surfing culture. I've only tried it a couple times, but I got totally hooked right away even though I was only able to stand up on the board a few times without falling. I'm hoping to save up some money and go to a surf camp next year.
Ocean water is the best thing for dreads! That's why people who don't live near an ocean use saltwater sprays to help encourage their hair to dread.
