dreads--drying tips please

Dread Maintenance

yeah thats exactly what I do ...but with a lil blowdryer at the end but it only really dries the outside

I shake mine out, squeeze, towel dry...I don't spend a lot of time on it tho...most of it is just air dry and I don't tend to worry about it too much. The only think I make sure of is I don't put them under a hat or tie them up or sleep on mine if there is any chance of them still being damp inside. I think ours is a similar length.

dreads--drying tips please

Dread Maintenance

Drying dreads takes forever even when they are short like mine .there has to be some trick i can do to help it out... blow dryers only get the outside of them dry ...and sitting in the sun isnt always available ..i usually just try to shower early in the day but my son doesnt make that easy ...I have heard the blow dryers with bags on them work well ..

How do you wear your dreadlocks to work?

dreads jobs employment issues

if you have sally beauty supplies (if not i assume any beauty shop would have them)they have what i think they called a "do holder" ( i kno its funy) but it is like this tube piece of cloth and the part that comes to your forehead has ties at the back (so one size should fit all) they have several colors usually including nude and black ... it should be by the do rags and shower caps hair roller ect

oh for bright color I only use veggie dyes you can leave them in as long as you want there is no harsh chemicals at all its just a semi permanent so in straight hair it washes out in a few washes well with dreads t sticks longer (I l0ve that about my dreads) I will have to get my older pics up from when i had my mohawk dreaded (I was the dreaded chic-n-hawk)it was a beautiful color blue for monthssoaringeagle said:
