Newbie...loose hairs?

Introduce Yourself

No freaking out here! Totally normal....it's for sure not a pretty process. It'll take loads of time too. I think it was 3 months before i started to see mine really come together and at about 6 months I started to notice that they were getting a whole lot tighter. Hang in there, at one week it's to be expected. Your hair will do its own thing, pretty soon it'll have a mind of its own! Love your journey! =)

Beads or no beads??

Dreading Methods

The beauty of beads is that they are accessories. You can even coordinate with your outfit if you want to lol. By no means are they permanent. My advice is hold out until you find a really special bead. One that you can't pass by without having. This'll make it special. I have one that i've had for a long time, I just take it off whenever I'm about to wash my hair and put it back in...well, whenever I remember. No matter how young or mature your dreads are, you can bead 'em anytime!
