a interlocking loctician wanted to show me how great interlocking is

Dreading Methods

i have no idea where you ve found negativity in my words... i sad 'as lot of black people do it', because its true, i ve seen much more people with african hair doing that than white, but that is not a point..its an unimportant bit of my comment..the rest of your comment i dont understand.. i dont judge, i dont attack, im just straight and sometimes sarcastic...have a nice day...

Correction - There are black people who do not do anything to their locs just like whites. No need for negativity. That's the sad part..people can't just share their opinions without making it an all out rude conversation. Messy or not, your words speak louder than how you wear your dreads and I don't see a bunch of lockers with their SCALPS out on here negative and talking about the messy heads...it's like people always have to find a way to DIFFERENTIATE THEMSELVES FROM EACH OTHER WHEN WE'RE ALL IN THE SAME POT ON THE SAME PLANET.

i dont see a point of baldness shining through the hair out...
this is what a lot of black people do to have their locks 'neat'... and the reason why some of them have their hair ripped of scalp in places...
not good for white hair, we like our messy dreads, because they dont look like a bits of rope glued on a bald head!
fuck the pain for a few hairless lines... crazy people..

crochet dreads recovery more then twice as long as expected

Dreading Methods

i agree with knotysleeves, i ve seen a few crochetted dreads and its a technique some people use, u crochet so much that the whole dread looks totally neat and like covered with fabric, sort of..still, the owner is happy with it and usually advice me that its time that i do something with my messy dreads :Dits possible to use crochet just to touch, help with knots on a very stubborn hair with little to no harm...general appearance of the dread should not be affected..

Backcombed dreads!??!? are they dooooomed!?

Introduce Yourself

dont worry about backcombing, ...and yes, they are gonna get looser and then start forming lightly...its fine, its gonna look good... u just have to be prepared for the changes that may come and dont get too attached to this stage...

Sadness

General Talk

people dont have to be polite when writing things on internet and are things sounding more harsh here cause u dont see emotion...its a forum and people discuss stuff and then dont agree... im satisfied with not agreeing rather than following the same principle like a 'sect'i also agree that we are pissed off sometimes about stuff happening in the world and inability to do something about it and there comes the emotions (recently immennsely popular cannabis duscussion..)than somebody somes around and takes a piss like just to have fun and make us all angry... :))) sorry about it but usually it isnt as serious as it feels...love is that we say our opinion instead of being nice but false... ;)

crochet dreads idiots on youtube

Dread Maintenance

people u crack me up..!well, to add to this discussion once more, i think everyone has a right to have any dreads he wants, as well as everyone else can say his opinion... sorry if it sometimes feels disrespecting...:)i really dont see crochet being such an instrument of evil SE, remember: 'everything in moderation'..overdose of anything is bad...;)also, i think its fair to admit if someone has a strong opinion about something, if he actually ever tried the thing... because if not he might not really know what he is talking about.. like somebody blasting about how cannabis is bad and never smoked, can he be trusted?still, the music sucks, man, do something about it..!
