Dread Maintenance

ok my dreads are about 3 months old some of them are starting to look good but most of them on top of my head wont dread up the're just like a bunch of loose hair wraped together, and it is really making my head look nappy, extremly fuzzy, and just not good looking or not atractive.they are also really curly. one of my friends who has had dreads before said 2 use wax to speed up the process and cut down on the fuzz and make them straight but i really dont know much bout wax because i hear alot of diiferent things about it. also i have been getting alot of lent, and dandriff in my dreds,and they wont go away no matter how many times i wash.. the only maintenance i do is wash with bakin soda and cold water, twist dreads after washing or when im bored,and some times wrap the loose dreads in all natural styling gel. plz if you know somethin that will help orsomething im doin wrong please tell me. THANK YOU

um ill try 2 put a pic up

u cannt fit a finger in some of the roots and sometimes ilike get ocd and will try 2 fix my dreads but i have 2 stop my self

im still kinda worried cause the wite specs or the rootwont go away nd like myscalp is getting sore idk if its jst me but i dont want to be goin bald..

i have had dread for about three weeks now. i used the twist and rip method,i think thats wut its called, at first they were locked nice and tight but a couple of days ago they looked like they were commin loose and iv also noticed that there are white things close to my scalp so i went to take one out and it was connected to a loose hair. i dont know wha it is but im kinda worried that my hair is comming out fromthe roots. i just want to know if both these things are normal and what i can do bout both of them. thank you.
