Anyone know if blowdrying dreads is okay?

i do quite often, i kept it on a low intensity when the dreads were still young to try to reduce the loose hairs frizzing, but with mature dreads it seems fine

ive just bought a few on ebay, there never used to be but theres a few really nice ones on there now. but it does take a good bit of searching to find anything good that will fit too i just leave them in when washing, but yea i would recommend moving them slightly when drying to allow the hair underneath to dry

i once had a dream that all my dreads fell off and i went bald basically over night, baldness runs in both sides of my family so im sure ill be bald someday, hopefully not that quickly though! woke up genuinely worried had to pat my head to make sure they were still there haha.

It is a conversation starter indeed, i think it makes us look more welcoming, were not afraid to be who we are, but thats about as far as I usually get, my chat must just be real bad haha although i have ended up with a very large widespread group of friends, which is something i value more to be honest. count myself lucky in that sense
