The reason that I got into to the idea of getting dreads in the first place is cause of Dave Navarros (Guitar player) locks in these videos:

Hello my muse for this post 's the dude in this video
I'm interested in having hair that does and at the same time don't look like dreadlocks, where the hair seems more separated into sections rather than dreaded, nothing against locks but it's just not really what I'm after.
His hair don't seem to have all the small hairs that stick out in every direction which fully grown dreadlocks seem to have.
If anyone could guide me, step by step on how to achieve hair like this I would be so fucking grateful.
