dreads predate money so why spend money for dreads

Dreading Methods

I'm not denying it's bad that the rain forest is being wiped out.. I support keeping it alive and thriving. But to make such audacious statements that the cure for cancer is in there I believe is facetious at best.. But that is my opinion and you are allowed to have yours as well. soaringeagle said:
most of our modern medicines infact came from the rainforest
theres estimates that there are still millions of undiscovered species there.
but with thousands of acres an hour wiped out we are losing so many species and so many possible cures we will one day need

That wa sin reference to the possibility that a flower in the rain forest can cure cancer. I cant say it doesnt exist just as much as someone can say it does.

Preservation encompasses all things including human life.. We have found instances that find that cancer dates back as far back as ancient egypt. So it predates modern advancements. I mean we have to have soem degree of modern progress. You cant stand firmly rebuking such progress when you use it so willingly to communicate and debate with me over these fiberobtic wires. Bottom line is that progress is a good thing but we must approach is cautiously and not be afraid to presue these things in a manner that not only benefits us but the earth as well. Whether or not there is such a flower is irrelevent. Cancer is a mutation of our cells caused by unnatural stimulus. If we were living right we wouldnt NEED these "advances".
As for natural toxins, there are always natural indications of such things. Poisonous animals are often brightly colored and marked. It does not need to be taught to a young animal that these potential prey are poisonous because animlas have a natural instinct.
We are so dependent upon authority to tell us what to do that we have forgetten how to use our intuition.
Why would a human ever want to venture into such a cave? What would be appealing about it. If curiosity lead someone in against their intuition, then maybe they would die, but that would be their own fault wouldnt it.

There are toxins that occur naturally in our enviroment too. such in some bat caves in south america. the insects and roaches within there are toxin and will kill you upon touching them.. there is also links that the marburg virus occurs naturally there. How did we come across these shocking revelations. I'm not denying that there is a problem with society and our impact on the world at large.. But I'm not denying that what it delivers is not warrented. I'm saying there must be a balance between the too or god forbid a coalition between the two.

you are running off of coulda and woulda.. but the Black plague wasnt born of a medicine enriched enviroment.. but we were saved by the advances of medicine to determine the cause. I mean nature seeks to kill us just as much as it nutures us.. We need progress as well as a understanding of the earth we live in.. but we can not have one or the other soaringeagle said:
the cost is dependence
we would not struggle without medicine and energy if we never became dependent on them
we are so weak now as a species
a bird or a pig gets sick and it threatens to wipe us out because we allowed medicines to take over our natural imune systems jobs we cannot adapt anymore to new illnesses withoutr developing new medicuines
nature certainly does provide all we need.
every medicine has its base in nature, and the medicines tend to grow right where u need it, for instance if an herb causes a disease or illness most likely the curew will be growing right next to it

altitude sickness is caused by being above 10,000 feet for too long and breathing too thin air.. above 10,000 feet 2 plants grow wild, osha and yarrow both are great for curing altitude sickness and allowing you to breathe thinner air.

every day we wipe out thousands of species of plants that are often undiscovered while turning the rainforrests into grazing lands for cattle. many of these species could have medicinal value we wil never discover now...proffit in that case came before sensability..and for a quick buck we may have doomed ourselves.. the cure for cancer could have been found in a flower that as your reading this was bulldozed out of existence

Actually everything we need isnt provided for free. Granted most things we need are provided by the earth.. But we would have struggle as a race without the progress we have made in the fields of medicine, conservation, and energy. Granted we got here at a cost. But there is always a cost for progress.

actually I do see sick animals in the wild.. Such as Chronic Wasting disease in the deer population that dates way back to 1967 Didjeridurian said:
Everything we "manufactured" to help us especially medically, was only needed becaise we are not living naturally.

We are creating unnatural problems for ourselves and then patting ourselves on the back for coming up with unnatural "solutions" to these problems that only casue more problems.

How many sick or obese animals do you see in the wild?

General Talk

YEah It happened to me for a while.. Usually it happened cause I was working the roots too much and didnt have the hair weight to bring them back down again.. Give it a day or so. I wear a bandana over them to bring them down.. but even then they might still stick up once you take it off..
