Comparison: Backcomb/Crochet/Wax vs. T&R/Neglect/No Products

Dreading Methods

I didn't do straight crocheting.. it was more of a crocheting rip and tear sort of thing I dont twist so much but used the crochet to increase the weave of my hair. though my hair textures is African American so that might contribute to the variance of results

Play any instruments?

I wish my fingers were a littlew thicker myself. I have enough length(my middle finger is longer than a pack of cigarettes) but I dont have enough girth to barre right it seems.. But yeah finger picking is easy for me. I can play a mean dust in the wind lol Didjeridurian said:
I decided to spend alot of time learning finger picking before I get involved in chords. It seems to me that it will make my fingers and hands more coordinated and less clumsy so that when I start with chords it will be pretty easy. I like to start with the harder stuff.
The problem is I have these small hands and thick fingers so finger placement is a tough one.
However thick fingers actually make my flute playing a bit easier.

It seems to me I have a easier go finger picking rather than chord transitioning. (cursed barre chords) I attiubute it to my giant hands but it's likely due to lack of focus & motivation to mature as a player.

I can sing and drum and play the gitter. I can hold a steady one drop on the drum kit, but I love hand drums like djimbes and binghi drums. I can't really finger pick the guitar but I can play chords and sing all my favorite songs!

just a addendum.. That does not mean play through the pain.. if it hurts your fingers bad then stop and take a break to avoid damage to the muscles/ligiments in your hands

believe me it does hurt at first but as the nerves receed and your hand muscle develop you'll see that wain and your fingers will be more nimble starthistle said:
I can play a little guitar. Though it tends to hurt my hands and fingers. I love to play hand drums. Although it isn't very fun by yourself. I used to play the viola but that was a long time ago.

Its really not that hard. I was homeless and stayed a buddies cabin. It's easy to stay in shape when you are out splitting logs for heat and field dressing some deer to stay fed :p Modenr convience is a big contributor to obesity and the overall lack of strength in people, I cant deny that Klete said:
1st off, I very rarely watch TV, I do enjoy watching sports but otherwise I can do without it, 2nd, I'm sure there are people out there living without everything, I have a hard time believing there in such good shape though. Living in the wild without modern day stuff is a hard life. I lived in a tent in the wyoming mountains for one week in november, that was hard enough. Can't imagine what january and febuary are like

the times im livin with 4 walls and modern conveniences i get slow lazy bored unmotivated ..i basicly just exist to take up space within those 4 walls..but when i completely immerce myself in nature and living naturaly i come alive and am in a state of bliss.
i cant wait to give up all these restricting gadgets ..the only thing i might wanna keep would be the internet but surely id use it far far less
