SE, many of those things are perfectly explainable. Training etc. Hypnosis is an effective tool. Im sure that meditation, too, can have a huge effect on peoples experiences. The brain is a powerful devise. Also, regularly abusing certain body parts makes them stronger. This could go a long way to an explanation. Muscles and bone grow stronger.

CJ, I remember many things you say, mainly because they are so outlandish. If you understood how memories are encoded, you might understand a little better.

Maybe you don't know, but I am a psychologist.Nobodiesconsciousness is more or less than anyoneelse's. All that is conscious is what weperceiveand are aware of. Do mentally ill people have higher a consciousness because some see things that we do not?

In modern psychology, there is still emphasis subconscious. But we find that it consists of purely automatic processes, that we do not need to be aware of. Memory storage, cognitive models etc.

You could both benefit from doing a little reading. Start anywhere. Books on evolution are good. Stephen Hawlking might just blow your mind. Best book I have read this year is "A Universe from Nothing" ,by Lawrence Krauss. Audio books will likely come in handy for you in a number of months, CJ.

You probably don't know this, but the retina is actually part of the brain. You are damaging a part of your brain when you stare at the sun.I strongly advise an eye exam.

I love the universe. I find it totally mind blowing. The vastness of it. The mysteries we have yet to discover. The possibilities that are available when we push the realms of knowable, observable, provable knowledge. I also feel for you, man. You've shut yourself into the world of mysticism and magic.Realityis awesome enough.

Many of the things you say strike me as supremely pretentious. I can't be the only one, surely.

For example, "I'm so zen right now, I feel like an orb of light".... "The ego screams, the high self whispers".. I wont go on.

Anyway, I'm pretty much done here. Back to my main point...

DON'T STARE DIRECTLY AT THE SUN, KIDS!! Leave that to the morons. And, if you happen to feel the impulse, google "Solar Retinopathy"

You merely prove to yourself and everyone else how shut off you are man. All I hear is your ego screaming, saying your shut off from the universe, are unaware of your owninherentabilities, and deny what makes you human. I feel for you man, as I do the rest of Humanity who is in the same slumber as you. You have Love coming to you man. Much Love.

Remember, the ego screams, while the high self whispers.

Lol. HUGE difference there. Drumming still has nothing to do with weather patterns. Ask any meteorologist.

The ice man is within the natural law of things. Look at penguins. They stand in -40 degree weather and many of them survive. I suspect that man has a genetic mutation, or something of that nature. Time and science will tell. So, there is how science MIGHT explain it. Better explanation than the spirit realm protecting him form the cold.

What I mean by the natural order of things was your assertion that a man drummed for an hour, trying to summon lightning. Then he raised his finger and the lightning struck the tip. But the man wasperfectlyfine. Pure fabrication on your part, all in the hope of "proving" a point.

When they "corrupt" the herb, they are isolating the active compound, thus making it stronger and easier to control the dose.

SE, you have aqueue of people, all lining up to kiss your ass. As far as I can see, your happy to let them pucker up and go for gold. It's gone to your head. All these outlandish statements, thinking no one will take you up on them.

Cj posted after I started this, but what a perfect example.

Probably worth noting at all you wrote were words there, CJ. There's not much meaning behind them.

In tune with his heart centre. lol

James, you seem to have some criticalfaculties. You should have no problem. It is others that I'm trying to protect here. We have some young and impressionable people on this site. We also have some older, suggestible ones.

I have no problem when they practice it themselves, but when they start inciting others, that's when I have a problem with it. And I still think it's idiotic. In America people seem to be easily offended. As if your being offended is something I should repent for. This is not the case whereIlive, so I call things as I see them. Staring at the sun is idiotic. Telling others to do it is malicious.

Also, while homeopathics may not be for me... I think it is an essential part of SE and CJ's sense of spirituality. Criticize it in any way we may like, we are all different and we all see potential in different things. I find nothing wrong with a CIVIL debate between ladies and gentlemen coming from all sides of the spectrum, but calling someone an idiot sounds a little harsh to me. The whole reason I am interested in these herbal remedies is that they are completely natural and hormone free. If CJ knows the risk of sungazing and SE knows that homeopathics may not be 100% effective and both are aware of the risks and warn others before trying them I think that shows that they are responsible men.
