How long should i wait before i start to see tangling? To be completely honest I'm not even sure my hair is staying sectioned it seems to come and go or it could be because my hair has gotten very curly.

Thank you, the advice and words of wisdom from fellow dread heads is what will keep me going in this. I hope the good work keeps up, my hair seems to want this as bad as i do.

I can probably find it in the forums but can someone give me a more detailed chart or estimated chart of natural dread progression? Also some more info on do's and donts would be nice. It's been almost a week since i stopped brushing my hair and i can see the front of my head sectioning pretty well but I'm not sure about the rest. Thank you.

its not wrapped in a headband its a small elastic headband that just pushes my hair back

Quick question, when i take a shower i get my hair wet to remove oils but after i usually throw my hair in a headband to keep it out of my face. Could this cause an issue or delay sectioning and dreading? i noticed my hair is starting to section but its just starting so its minimal. I still dont want to take any steps back. Thanks in advance.

My locks haven't formed yet, i took out my twist and rip locks and started over. it's only been about 4 days without combing but its never to early to get advice and learn.

i've used it enough. I have dawn dish soap downstairs though so tomorrow i'll wash my hair with that and hope to get the residue out and then from there continue with baking soda washes.
