Dread Maintenance

i swam, my hair dried, i went back to the beach house, and there i did a BS wash.
then i went home the next day.
so yeah, i guess i just need to do a full BS/ACV wash with the water here at my house.
thank you for replying so fast.

Ummm......help please?

Dread Maintenance

I went to the beach this past weekend and of course I went in the water... Later that day after my hair had somewhat dried I washed it with BS (this was on Sunday, btw).
Now today my hair has been almost gummy/oily and at the scalp everywhere there is a wax-like substance with no color and not much of a smell. My hair feels incredibly gross.
I was wondering if I should do a BS soak or the normal BS/ACV?
I'm only about 3 weeks into my journey, some babies have formed so i was wondering the best method to clean/preserve them.

Thank you so much. I was afraid that I wasn't doing enough.
I guess now I just learn the meaning of patience.

Introduce Yourself

Hello all, my name is Michael,17 years young, and I just started my journey 3 days ago.
I originally started with some back combing and a little twisting, but now i have decided to go all natural. I was just wondering if SE or anyone had some suggestions pertaining to maintenance and such. I know about the baking soda washes and the sea salt, but I was wondering if there was any other specifics, other than to stop messing with them so much.
Should I wear a cotton beanie when i sleep, and what to do about my itchy scalp? Ugh, it's really bothering me right now, and itching it causes scabs and such. Aloe Vera Gel maybe? And if so, can it be Aloe Vera Gel that is used for sun exposure burns? It's just Aloe Vera, but it says it is mainly used for sunburns on the front.
All the help and suggestions are appreciated.

Oh... almost forgot....My hair is only about 3, 4, and 5 inches in some places. My sides and back of my head are buzzed short. You'll probably notice in my profile picture.
