Stereotypes about dreads

General Talk

haha she does not reply to him. but yea he is just mad that i dont care about what other people think of me. i love my dreads, my girlfriend loves my dreads, and my real "friends" love my dreads. what else do i need?! and i took free spirited as a compliment haha

Starting to feel change!

General Talk

i am starting to feel change in my dreads! i was doing a little palm rolling. even though it doesnt do much and i dont do it often so i know i am not doing damage. but i was doing a little palm rolling just to try and work out some flat spots and realized how much thinner some of my dreads are starting to feel! its great feeling that change knowing that they are tightening up and shrinking a little!

around what time in your journeys did you first start feeling or noticing changes in your locs?

Why I chose to dread...

Introduce Yourself

i am the same way! even though i am only 19 turning 20 i have always loved the look of dreads! and i love how everyone tells me my dreads are dirty and i will never have real dreads. proving them wrong and teaching people about dreads is another amazing thing about having dreads! i came to a point in life where every night i would look up videos of people with dreads and i couldnt keep my mind off them

Dread Shampoos Vs Baking soda wash

Dread Maintenance

i would only like responses from people who have use both or seen the outcome of both.

which is better for newer baby dreads?

does one help tighten dread up faster?

i have been using the baking soda wash and it is working out amazing so i am just wondering if it can get any better with the shampoo. thanks!
