my 2 month was on friday! started out backcombing. crochet hooked maybe the first 2 weeks. mo more crochet hook, no wax, lots of loose hair hahaha. check them out!

so i know you dont have to do anything and your roots with lock up with time, but what is your say on rubbing of roots to kind of help them along the way? and i mean only like once every 2 weeks. its not anything that i do all the time.

dont be nervous! i was nervous the first time i went to wash mine and after i washed it there was such a relief. i love washing my dreads now. i am only 1 month and 3 weeks in so i know how you feel. after i got out i felt as if my dreads locked up even tighter!

is there a difference of the amount that dread will shrink based on the method you used to start them? like TnR, neglect, backcombing?

How my friend explains my hair

so i was showing my friend my new little dread wrap on my baby dread and he came to the conclusion that hair is a playground. i think this is the best way to explain it and i love it! just allowing it to be free and have fun and decorate it.
has anyone else had people call their hair funny names?
