1 year update!

Well it's been one year and I can't believe it.. The last time I updated my timeline was over 5 months ago, but it absolutely does not feel like it has been that long. Time really does fly by when you are having fun! haha anyway, these are my locs at one year.. I love them very much and to everyone who is thinking the big one year will never come.. just be patient and next thing you know, your baby locs start to mature! Just takes patience and love, and remember good things come to those who wait :)

Thanks for looking!

Bless and love from the Sunshine State

Day 209 (almost 7 months)

I cant believe the progress, before I looked at the pictures from day 1 I thought I wasnt making any progress, but wow I realize i really am coming along haha It's crazy to look at pictures from a while ago and see how much I have changed. It is awesome, lots of cool knots and locs.. being in the sun all summer has lightened my hair. Also, I got bored one day and did a few tnr locs in the front, but other than that all natural with baking soda wash.

Thanks for looking, have a great day

You can see how much the sun has lightened my hair

Day 142- Almost 5 months

How often would yourecommendI wash? right now I do not have a set schedule on washing, I am in the ocean most days, so I feel that keeps them sort of clean haha

This is a TnR dread I did a few months ago

Day 115!

Here is an update, just wanted to show off some cool knots.

They would probably lock faster if I washed them more frequently, I should start to do that.

Sweet! you should share a photo. I go surfusuallyabout 2 times a week or more, but alright I'll pick some up. I'm wondering if maybe the amount of water that flows through my hair while surfing (while going under a wave or whatnot) is slowing down the process. not sure haha

Thanks everyone
