I was wondering if it is okay to massage my scalp with my baby dreads? My friend did yesterday and I forgot how good it felt lol, she didn't run her fingers through my hair, just used her fingertips on my scalp

18 Month Update!
Wow, It has been a very long time since I've updated this timeline. Well it has been 18 months since I threw away my comb and started washing with baking soda. It's been an amazing journey, and my locs bring a smile to my face everyday. They still aren't very mature, but it's all part of the journey! It's crazy, some days they look one way, and other days, they look completely different. In these pictures, they look a little less knotty than usual because I took a shower this morning when I usually take them at nights. I do wish they were a little more mature and less flat, but I know one day they will round out. I do really enjoy all the compliments and people asking about them at work and such, it's always fun telling people my hair locked up without any time work done on them, just no comb. Well, enjoy the update, and I will definitely start updating more often!
