Silly question from a baby dready. Size matter?

i was thinking the same thing to,,, i started my dreads last yr november 14,2011 and i have 16 locks and my hair is as fine as horse hair....lol... before dreadlocks my hair was long...it came down to my waist...bt when i dreaded it...it was up to my mid section of my chest and im over a 1 year and 2 months and my dreads shrinkd to my shoulders...so my question is since i have 16 locks and shoulder length....will my dreads ever get really fat similar to alborosies(which case i want) and how long does dreadlock take to get length as to my ribs?
