Salvia is the only one I'd touch. But it's been so long since I have practiced shamanism that, I agree Eagle, I wouldn't do it again unless I started practicing again. I have only had wonderful experiences. I did it 3 times each one over a year apart. It's something you need to spend time interpreting before you do it again. I still haven't understood the last vision, so I don't plan on doing it again any time soon. And as for swimming in traffic... I actually had an experience like that, I was outside and walked up to a busy street, but something in my mind would not let me go further than the curb. It was like I was walking into an invisible brick wall. But had I not been so lucky, I would have and could have stepped right into traffic.

If I were to ever do it again, I would make sure to have a sitter with me. Someone who would understand not to try and interact with me, but who would be there to make sure I wasn't endangering myself.

I agree. It is a shamanic substance and should only be used as such. It's not something you do because "you can handle it". I actually had a friend who said that. He said he'd do it again, not because he liked it, or go anything from it, but because "he could handle it" I was so mad at him for disrespecting It so much

Salvia is only legal in some states now. And It's not even close to a weed high. It's more intense than any mushroom trip I have been on. I would never recommend it to anyone. It's something that you will try when you are ready and look into it yourself

It's true. Robo tripping wouldn't have been as big as it was for a while. I did it a few times, myself. Not worth it at all. The first time was amazing, but the next 2 I got so sick, I spent an hour throwing up in the bathroom

Boycotting for that would do nothing. Especially if you said it was because it was dangerous. Every gas station sell cigs. You can't boycott gas stations in general

I don't smoke at all anymore. My girlfriend still does and all of my friends. It's not hard to be around it if you set your mind to not smoking. When the bowl is passed to you, just remind yourself what the consequences would be if you were to cave even for one hit

move to Philly. Lol. Up to an 30 grams is amisdemeanorand a simple fine. No courts, no probation, no anything. Just a money order and you're free to go.

For now, yeah, just jump through their hoops. There's nothing you can do at this point. But next time, smoke before you go out, or roll a joint that you can crush under foot really easily. No bags to pull prints off of

Heat, humidity and sweating

General Questions

The work in Western Australia will not be a problem, because of the dry heat. You're hair will dry pretty quick out in the sun. The problem with sweating that much will be that your head will itch like no itch you've ever had before. It'd be best to wash as often as possible. Wash once and see how long it takes to dry. If it dries within the work day, you could probably get away with washing every other day. You'd itch a bit for a day, but not as much as if you let them go without washing for a week.

As for Costa Rica, the humidity will slow down your drying time considerably. If you are planning on getting your hair wet every day, though, rinse them off with fresh water after you are done for the day, and use a blow dryer to help speed up the process. Don't do your normal washing routine as often. Maybe once every 4 days to once a week. I don't know from experience how long they take to dry down there, but I know that it will take longer, because of the humidity.

You'll find out what works best for you when you get there and wash for the first time. Just keep an eye on how long it takes, and work from there.

Also, it Australia, you might want to think about wearing a hat. That much sun all day long could damage your hair. UV radiation doesn't just hurt your skin.

In the tropics, wear your hair down as much as you can. You want as much air flow between locks as you can get so they dry as fast as possible

congo proublem solved ?

General Questions

I'ts a little late now. I would haverecommendedtrimming the big one down instead of cutting it off. In time the root would have fixed itself before the weight got too much for it again. If there are little ones around it, they will do what they can to hide the empty spot. In time that hair will grow back become another lock. Just be more careful this time to prevent congoing

Sleeping with a tam

Dreading Methods

Not to mention that if you see that much knotting when you wake up without sleeping on one, why would you want to? People think sleeping in a tam will speed up the progress. But it sounds like you don't need any help
