Just thought I would introduce myself since I'm new. I am very glad I found this wonderful site full of wonderful people. I have seen nothing but kindness and for that I love you all.

I have already learned so many things from this site, and I am very glad I did because it has made this journey easier than I was making it.

My Dread Dilemma

Dreading Methods

Hey man, I am in the same boat. I took some of my dreads out to re do them by t&r, my hair was fine and you should expect hair loss as you're combing them out. While your hair is dreaded it can not fall out as it does naturally. I wanted to take them all out and re start doing it naturally but I am very impatient and I could not take out the dread I just put in and start over. So I took out two bigger ones and now I am letting those form naturally and letting the rest of my t&r dreads also form more naturally. I say you let it continue naturally and they will shift and change and not all be the same, in time.
