Removing Dreads

Well I used olive oil already and it helped me take some dreads out. I did not feelcomfortable using conditioner. What is the concept of crocheting? I told her I don't want wax or chemicals that cause myscalp to peel. I have until Saturday to decide whether I want to have her dread my hair.
I am pretty sure she is just palm rolling it.
