Mobile site

dreadlockssite appreciation

Hello people! I don't know where else to post this..

When I'm on the mobile site, there's a banner saying "Chat Now" at the bottom of my screen and another vertical banner on the left saying "Contact Us".. These are constantly getting in my way - is there a way to get rid of them?

Also I've noticed that sometimes text extends beyond my screen to the right - I have to put my phone on its side to see the full text.. Can this somehow be remedied?

Thanks for this site though!!! This place have taught me so so many things about dreads AND about myself!!

Love you all..

Grey hair

General Questions

Hmf.. I had a thought the other day: How do people end up with completely grey dreads?

I mean doesn't pigmented hair keep it's color pretty much indefinitely?

I can't wrap my head around how people end up with dreads that are grey from root to the very tip - do they cut off the old (colored) growth at some point? Did they start their dreads after all their hair went grey?

What's the deal here...?

What prompted this whole thing is that I'm starting to go grey a little bit.. Now I couldn't care less about aging, but for some reason it feels... I guess a little odd thinking about having half grey half colored dreads..

Anybody want to fill me in?

Here's a few + a few that, by contrast, are still loose..ish...

P.S. Man, selfies are difficult, I almost had a cramp! 😜

Help! Save My Dreads

Whoa! Guess I was worried about nothing then.. I think my panic came out of the locs going from almost dead-straight to wiggly over one night. It kinda made it feel like an "artificial" change to me.. But yeah I suppose they just exploded with character - Now I'm just glad that something good came out of this lice treatment debacle.. And thanks to you all for what amounted to a major confidence boost for me - Now I just love them even more, so thanks again for calming my nerves, you guys are so kind.. :)

Oh, and the thing with the ends blunting up really did truly worry me..

I know the end seem quite loose now, but a lot of them are sort of kinked/folded back on themselves, which is what's worrying to me..
