Your curl pattern looks very similar to mine! My husband hates the idea of dreads, but I started mine underneath and will most likely just let the rest slowly form on its own. He’ll get used to it eventually. Lol

Hi all! I’ve been lurking for a while and finally decided to join in. I started my partial dreads a couple of weeks ago, and kinda want to document their progress with people who won’t flame me for having them. I’ve got that naturally super thick curly Celtic mane (think Robert Plant on steroids) that knots into monkey fists no less than 20x a day, so if it’s going to knot up, at least I can have pretty knots. It tangles 8nsanely easily, so I’m seeing big changes already. The photo from the back is before dreading, the closeup photo is at one week, and the rest are at the two week mark. I’ve got crazy loops going on!
