Thanks so much, Soaring Eagle. : ) I look forward to sharing our music.
Where do I sign up? : ) I'm always happy to share our original tunes with listeners everywhere! And my dreadie friends, are at the very top of that list VIP listeners.
How do I add the link to our tunes? Many Blessings & .V.. to all!

I'm not sure I can be of much help, since my dreads are only 3 to 4 months old. However, I can say the knots and loops are a normal part of my day to day life ofbeing a dread newbie. : ) The more seasoned dreadies like Taye and Soaring Eagle can tell you so much more than I. Neglectis key, and staying away from mirrors.haha *great advice I was given*
But,if you're ever having a frustrating day, as I often do, feel free to drop me a note. We can be each other's support. 'Have patience',is the advice I most often get from my seasoned dreadie friends. It's easier said than done, but I feel--taking advice of dread hiarchy--that it will so be worth it when my dreads mature.
Thanks Soaring Eagle. It helps to know it's not just my stringy hair giving me the fits. hahaha I confess, I tried a few T & R dreads, but they don't seem to want to take. My hair is dreading better on its own. I'm just not known for being very patient. I'm staying away from the mirror, my shadow will keep me company for the rest of the day. : )
Thanks Soaring Eagle. Great advice. : ) This morning I'm feeling rather tempted to do a few twist and rip dreads at the nape of my neck. That part of my hair doesn't seem to want to do anything but just hang there. Should I be patient, and just wait it out? *needing words of wisdom...and some extra patience too*
Having just turned 46, I feel free'r than ever since I started letting my hair do its own thing. For this past summer, my hair has been trying to form dreads naturally, though I have brushed many little dread babies from existence. That was a few months ago since I last made that mistake.
I've gone to 'full neglect mode' for about 2 months now, and I have my good days...I have my bad days. Still, I don't want to comb through my little dreadies. I am happy with the ones that have formed already, but the ones that still look more like a tangled web are getting to me; I must admit. What to do on days like this? Well...I've found myself avoiding the mirror a LOT. haha
Either way, I couldn't be happier with my baby dreads, and I remain hopeful that my tangles will soon form into lovely locks. Living on an island, near the beach is certainly a benefit to my new lovelies. I feel this new journey I am embarking upon is the right path to finding my true self. At my age, it's about time. : )
Harmony, my grandson has-yet to see my dreads. But I imagine he'll reach up and play with them, when he first sees them. The thought of this just makes me happy. : )
I look forward to that day. Thanks so much for commenting, and for all of your encouragement. Many Blessings your way.

Thanks for your comment, Karen. I know shrinking dreads is inevitable, so I'll just grin and bear it. : ) Still, I'm loving my dread babies. I look forward to seeing how they evolve.
Blessings & .V.. (peace)
Thanks Harmony. : ) I feel I am on that journey, and I am loving it more each day. And, even though my dreads are still young, wild and free, I see them maturing just a bit more week by week. I look forward to a freer future, with a full head of mature dreads.
Blessings, .V.. (Peace) and much Thanks for your comment and encouragement.
