bad sectioning

General Questions

So I made my dreads myself, with random sectioning,..6 months ago. and I fear that some of the roots are *too* involved with eachother and that I may have to take them out and restart them, or pull those confused hairs out of the involved dreads and hope they go where they should? or break them apart? I am afraid that if I break the hairs I will end up with weak dreads because it seems like a good bit of hair. Anyone else had this issue and seen the other side of it? (I don't want congos)

single hairs pulling, sore scalp and headaches

Dreads Hair and Scalp Health

It seems to be a fewww hairs, and if it is a fewww, do you think that could cause alopecia?

Dreads Hair and Scalp Health

Does anyone else ever deal with this? My dreads are 2 months old and the roots are growing out and loose but some certain hairs in the roots seem to be holding most of the weight of the dreads and it makes my scalp SORE and gives me headaches.

Dread Maintenance

man i have the same problem. like the loose hairs are long kindof free hair and some stick out halfway through the dread. if i crochet them it will take for ever and i am not that skilled with the crochet hook....
and my hair just looks messy. and my roots seem loose. but it will take care of itself?
also i am scareeeddd to wash. theyre only 5 days old
