Dreading Methods
Since I have only used the wax once and the dreads are relatively short 5 to 6 inches of hair I'm going to attempt the vinegar aproach. I greatly appreciate the info by the way. What should be the water to vinegar ratio? and for how long should I soak the dreads for?

Hi all I needadvice I just started my dreads a little over a week. I had my wife do my hair and after a few days of cursing at me for all the work. She used the Backcombing method, and crochetting which if I was into S&M it would be cool but I am not "ouch, ouch, ouch. We also used the knottyboy wax. After looking like Mary in the hair gel scene from "There is Something about Mary. Two days later I found out this site and found that wax was bad. I tried to remove it by using the "knotty boy bee washed pre-dreading & de-waxing soap bar" in the hopes that the wax would come out. It didn't work. After thoroughly drying my hair my hair looked likecrap My wife wanted to murder me after all that work. I left the hair alone for a few days andused the "knotty boy locksteady tropical gel" I the hopes that it might help if anything because of the conditioning properties. Now that I have a little understanding on the subject. I am seeking for some help. What do you guys recomend I do to salvage what I have. It took me a while to grow the hair from the mohawk.
