Concerns About Neglect Dreads

General Questions

I'd want my dreads to be around 1/2-3/4 of an inch. (though I wouldn't mind if the ones on the top/back of my head were bigger)

Soaring Eagle, I read your super clean dreads post and was wondering where I could get those oils (Tea Tree, Rosemary, Lavender), would Ebay be fine?

Concerns About Neglect Dreads

General Questions

Hi, I'm new here and think that this site is great. I've been wanting dreads for as long as I can remember, and I'm finally starting to let my hair dread. I was gonna try to backcomb it myself, but decided not to, so I'm letting it go natural/neglect.

My only concern is if neglect dreads would be too thin? Because I want my dreads to be thick.

Thanks ^.^

super clean dreads (safe for baby locks too)

Dread Maintenance

Is there anything I can use to moisturize my scalp that'd be safe for baby locks? Cocoa Butter perhaps?

I let the BS stay on my head/hair for 30minutes and used ACV afterwards, and that did the trick.

My hair and scalp has never been this clean and dandruff free! :)

The oils haven't come in the mail yet, so waiting on those. I did also do acv, but isn't it a light conditioner so it could be bad for baby dreads?

The baking soda dissolves dandruff, but even after rinsing I still see some tiny dandruff that hasn't been rinsed out. Am I just not rinsing well enough or did I do something wrong?
