my hair will clump at the roots very easily. in fact, a night or two of sleeping with my hair loose will result in a massive clump at the roots. i'm more concerned about being able to divide the hair when the clump forms..? what will the sea salt spray help with, exactly?

u got the right idea and the perfect hair just throw away the comb and conditioner switch to a non residue soap and feel for areas clumping to9gether over the 1stweeks and seperate em from eachotherseperate anytime to clumps try to merge (usualy at the roots)sea salt sprays help too

haven't started dreading yet. i have wild/curly hair. beautiful in it's own right, but i'm tired of the daily maintenance involved with washing/conditioner/combing. as an alternative, i've been thinking about dreads. i find them beautiful, they remind me of trees somehow. i think it's because they remind me of the roots of trees (and the branches too), twisting and turning...if i finally decided to let my hair dread, i would basically just let it go and do it's thing, with the exception of helping create different sections. any pointers for starting out?
