welcome sisateri hate to tell u this but crochet is extremelyy7 bad for dreads if u throw away the hook today and never touch it again u will recover after a long recovery period when all the hairs u broke pop out everywhere making thenm extremely frizzy and fuzzycrochet should never be used on dreads
