Welcome. It's great that you stopped using wax, but stopping isn't enough. You need to aggressively remove it. Wax is a hydrocarbon and will NEVER wash out in normal soap and water. No matter how hot the water is. You need a detergent to wash it out. There are instructions on how to remove was in the dreaducation page. I can clarify anything if you need me to. With just 1 session with wax, it can take a month of washing 2-3 times a week to get it all out

Our hair does look about the same length. We did start around the same. I started 4/6/13. I used the back comb method. I didn't use any wax either. All I do is wash with dreadlock shampoo bar. It's made by Buck County Soap. Yours are looking pretty good.

welcome yea wax is nasty but it must be3 agressivly removed get the wax b gone and get it all out asap
