How often should I wash my hair with baking soda

I wash with it 2-3 times a week. Never had any problems. As long as you use the right ratios, you'll be fine. Some people like to only do it once a month, as a deep clean. Others don't use it at all. But using it as your primary wash isn't going to hurt your locks.

A couple of people, over the years, have had an issue with using it too often. But that's 2 out of the thousands that are members here

Okay cool. Uh well I use baking soda a little bit of apple cider vinegar and half a lemon. Is that good ?

1 capful of ACV to 5 cups water. Pour over head after you rinse out the BS. Rinse out the ACV within one minute as it is a healthy conditioner, also balances the hairs PH. Don't use lemon at all, too acidic and not good for dreads....Peace

Forgot to mention, if you have a very oily scalp, then the ACV is not necessary, but if you feel you hair is starting to dry out from the BS, then add the rinse once in awhile
