when u comb u get split ends combing causes some damage backcombing way more
if u let it go natural u dont get split ends
the split ends require trims every 2 months typicaly 1/2 inch
thats 1/2 yoir growth gone
if you dont trim it grows twice as fast
ofcourse the shrinkage happens but is very temporary once it shrunk it grows at full speed without trims
