So should I rinse out the salt?

ocean water's fantastic. it spawned my first few dreads in just a week of going through florida. i still usesea saltrinse every once in a while. just be careful. doing it too often will dry out your head.

Go and love the ocean. It will help them if anything. I love to go to the beach in my spare time. I feel that there is nothing better for the dreads. :DFlorida represent bitch haha

I had a friend rub a salt rock on his. Hardest densest dreads I have seen. I don't know about sprinkling salt on them but I have heard of using a salt rock. Never seen one.

yeah for sure. i've never heard of putting salt directly in dreads. i always mixed sea salt and water in a gallon jug and used the same cold rinse after wash.
