Synthetic dreads and advice

Hi!

I am going to install synthetic dreads soon. Have bought both brown strands and black/purple-ombre.

I have seen some pictures on Pinterest, and I’m thinking of mixing both of the colors since it looked good on some of the photos I’ve seen. My natural haircolor is brown.

Do anyone here have dreads/dread-extensions and can give some advice on how to install SE dreads? Also need advice on how to best mix the colors together in my hair. If you have any other tips or tricks, please share them!

Don’t do it.. that’s the advice.. grow real dreads, synthetics will always look and feel fake, with none of the advantages of real dreads

You have great long hair for real dreads why would you want fake?

dreads extend themselves.. extensions get cut off in weeks 80% of the time.

we can help you grow real dreads though..mine started at 4 inches and extended themselves through growth to over 12 feet
