These two LOVE to dread, they were my dreads before dreads when I’d go a week or more without brushing

I think I’m at 7 or 8 months now and my up-do today, trying to get my hairs to lay differently, they’re stuck flat lol

Can anyone tell me how to upload a picture from my files, those don’t download, just from the camera

My longest hairs now make up these super short dreads. They’re dense, slightly spongy rope texture nearer the top whereas the bottoms are flat and large with no squish. I expect in time those to shrink in as well but they’ll always have flare lol... there’s three of these at the bottom around my neck line, one not shown here, and a next layer up (one shown here) from those that are super shrunk and flat on bottom.

@peaceful-passer  I've been getting similar effect with quite a few of my teen dreads, which I think will turn out OK as long as I can keep the top about pencil thick. The  flaties  are not so quick to dry, (especially now our South-west climate is getting colder and damper) I may  have to brush the ends out a bit to stop them trapping water.

Must try and get some new pics up soon for my belated second year dreadiversary
