Just Started

So today was my first day creating a profile here as well as posting a few questions about starting out. I have naturally curly hair and I decided to do the natural/freeform dreads. I don’t ever brush my hair... EVER... but I do wash and condition my hair, well lately I stopped conditioning it and tonight my husband was like Liz get me your phone you should see the back of your head and well this is what I have. So I guess it has started......

It use to be so much thicker but I guess as I get older it thins out.

I lost loads when I combed out my crochet "dreads".

Lesson learned.

I was going to do crochet once I did the backcombed but I decided against them both completely. I figure my hair does it’s own thing and I never brush it I just need to stop conditioning it and we will be on the right track.

so glad you skipped them

would be a shame to damage such beautiful hair so severely.. and needlessly
