Dreadbutta and other products

Just need to know if it is true that dreads need to be moisturized or they will become brittle and break off? Other sites say to condition dreads to prevent breakage. If true, what do you recommend?

in the 1st year no they shouldnt be after that only as needed i mean i condition mine lightly every several months

dread butta is only to make waxy dreads feel liss waxy

i think all the damage they recomend u do is what makes them brealk off and enough gunk added might make the broken off dreads stick back together

but no conditioning diring formation unless its very nesacary

(remember the same sites selling conditioners sell sea salt and recomend it be used several times a day...to dry it oit and make it britle

those sites are scams
