Happy Hippie Chick

Hello dread brothers and sisters! Just wanted to say how happy I am to be a part of this community. I love all the various stages of dreads, the different hair types and the cool experiences.

I'm a reformed crocheter, recovery is coming along nicely. My dreads are natural and happy now, with the information and support from the forums.

Anyway, just a happy shout out!

Yay! Glad you started recovering so well from crocheting. It's usually very hard for most people.

It's good you embraced all the cool nappy phases of your journey. That's part of what growing locks is all about

I'm a good 4 or 5 months into recovery, and I wasn't a frequent user, thank the happy hippie stars. My motto now? "Nappy is Natural" never felt more groovy! Been dreaded for a year and a half, was the start of bringing the person inside to the outside...

I love that, it's a great way to explain how I feel as well.
