I have layered hair. Its about 3.5 _4 inches on top and 2.5 to 3 inches in the back and sides. I was wondering if this would be any kind of problem for dreading my hair?

no but its kinda short u need to let it grow to dread
the longer parts will dread 1st then the rest will catch up
