Where do i start?

So i neeed dreads, and i dont know where to start. I am 18 just finishing school, im from australia. So can someone help me out? I come from the 'hippy' part of aus (Byron Bay) yet its sad that i dont know anything about dreads :/ soooo i have some questions... My hair is almost down to my belly button, its not currently my natural colour though, should i dye it before i dread? should i cut or trim it? and what is the best method for curly-ishh hair? thanks

best methi=od stop combing let it dread

no trimming it will shrink plenty

dying naturals a good idea cause it will be a pain to dye

throw away your comb wait for dreads

or u can do tnr but thats going to be a several day job

and it really will dread up beautifully on its own and probably fast

Thanks for your reply i dont think i could do that though... my hair would turn into one big mat and it would just be dirty. However i will dye it and i wont trim it at all from now and then so i will take your advice on that one

nah u seperate and uts fine and its not dirty u wash it washing helps it dread
