I started dreading one week ago and used the crochet hook method I really don't like how perfect they are though and they are quite stiff. I really want that natural look and feel to my dreads though. I've only crochet hooked them once no touch ups yet. What can I do to save my dreads and get the natural feel look to them?

let em go natural from here it can help speed recovery to use aloe or jojoba to soften and loosen them enough to dread right tho it can take awhile

Well I never blunted my tips so that's definitely a good thing. I should just make sure the sections are separate still though right?

yea unless u want them to combine but wouldnt for awhile cause crochet makes em very thin and they can thicken alot during recovery

well washing early might help..a tiny bit 1st couple months

tho u probly will want to do lil aloe or something to help more cause the recovery can be real slow tho u can tekll when theyre loose enough to let em tighten again
