3 week old dreads

i started my dreadlocks when my hair was 3 1/2 inches long. I love them. does anyone know when thy will start to lay down on the own. I look like a porcupine most of the time if not using headband or bandana. Also i hear people talking about using rubberbands. is it good or bad? i have had them in since i started but i think im going to take them out soon. is that a good idea?

rbber bands should have come out on day 1 they have to be removed right away

if u waxed or crochetted u got to remove the wax and recoiver from crochet

dreads should not be stiff or stand up straight

tho if theyre real short they can stick yup
