Brand new dreads!

Hello,

I am so grateful to have found this site. After about 5 years of wanting to dread my hair and reading about the backcombing method, I finally bought my Knotty Boy comb. The day it came in the mail, I found this site and discovered the twist and rip method. Four days of twisting and ripping later, I finally have my little baby dreads and I am so happy with them.

Glad to have found this community, thanks for being here!!!

Yeah, I realized that when it came in the mail. My first red flag should have been when I called around the local beauty supply stores asking them if they sold "dread combs" and they had no idea what I was talking about. I did not use it on my hair, and I was smart enough to not buy any wax; the twist and rip worked super well and I'm really happy with the result so far.

dread combs is an oxymoron to dread you dont comb so why would you want a dread comb?
