Ok, please don't get discouraged by what was posted above, from what I've seen on this site, I do think it is a good idea to get the wax out and this is the place to be to find out how, and your dreadsshould bejust fine.

Don't do any maintenance either. Don't twist or rub or pull or re-backcomb. it will only hinder the process!but I think when yours are all said and done, they'll look sick!

remember the old kunk fu movies

a gentle breeze and a meandering stream can carve and wear away at a mighty mountain

the thing with dreads is excessive foece creates excessive resistence which causes damage

gentleness causes them to dread without effort

instead of a hell of alotta backcombuimg just fingerteasing can get em going just as well if not better

in fact..wind and rain can get em dreading without damage

you do not need to be agressive when forming them

the gentler you are the better

if you backcomb bhe gentle

u might want to try twist and rip on a few have a feelij you'll like it better

u shouldnt be trying for maximum tighteness that will be counter productibve

all u want is em to be formed enough to survive a few washes

time takes care of the rest

it sont matter how it feels its inside the dreads causing harm u never ever ever want any wax in dreads it will keep them from ever dreading why did u start over to get the waxut just to asdd more wax

u want no wax at all in dreads they must be clean completely wax free

now u gotta do it again and remove that wax which is even harderr to get out

again..u want absolutely no wax at all...none
